To qualify, participants must:

- Have a genuine reason for firearm/weapon possession as defined by the Weapons Act 1990
This course applies to individuals seeking a licence in one or more of the following firearm/weapon categories:
- Categories A & B

- Category D
- Category H
Additionally, this training is essential for:
- Queensland Police Service personnel who require physical possession of a firearm/weapon as part of their duties
- Government officers in roles involving firearms/weapons for tasks such as seed gathering, animal tagging, humane euthanasia, and culling
Our program ensures participants develop the necessary safety awareness, legal understanding, and practical firearm handling skills required for responsible firearm ownership and professional use.
